For Educators

Stories that start conversations

Rising Cub Books creates stories and resources that give children opportunities to think about behaviour, relationships and the impact of choices.

We don't prescribe what children must think. We create space for questions, conversation and reflection.

ONE SMALL THING

A story can be a starting point.

A book may only take a few minutes to read, but a question, a conversation or one small moment of reflection can stay with a child much longer.

Our classroom resources are designed to extend the ideas within each story without supplying the answers. They invite children to notice, question, discuss and consider the choices we make and the effect those choices can have on others.

Sometimes one small thing is enough to plant a seed.
